OTHER QUALIFICATION DETAILS:
Minimum qualifications: Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university, Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and (ii) to this Clause 2.1, candidates, who are, or have been awarded with a Ph. D. degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions.
Teaching Faculty: First Class Masters Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering (Engg.) & Technology (Tech)
Education Qualification for the post of Sugar Technology: Post graduate in Sugar Technology or AVSI or ANSI Degree with 55% and as per UGC norms, With 02 years Of industrial experiences.
Pay Scale: The engagement is purely on temporary basis for a period of one semester only. For the engagement on contractual basis, faculty shall be paid a remuneration of Rs.40,000/- for candidates possessing UGC/CSIR- NET/SLET and Rs.45,000/- for candidates possessing UGC/CSIR- NET/SLET along with Ph.D. in the relevant subject

GENERAL INFORMATION
Reservation for SCs/STs, OBCs and PHs for all posts exists as per the guidelines of the UGC / GOL Candidates applying for the reserved posts should clearly State to which category they belong. They must also enclose attested Photostat copy of Caste Certificate/ Medical Certificate from the concerned competent authorities.
The form of caste certificate to be produced by other backward class candidates must be in the format as prescribed by the Govt. of India (please visit website www.ncbc.nic.in for further details). Otherwise, the application will be summarily rejected without further consideration.
Relaxation of 5% marks (55% to 50%) will be provided at the Masters level in the case of and to those Ph.D. degree holders Who have passed their Masters degree prior to 19th September 1991.
The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale, where ever grading system followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based on only the qualifying marks Without including any grace marks procedure. Retired teachers, below the age of 65 may also apply.
Candidates offered the position will have to join within one week and should produce the original marks cards and testimonials along with address proof at the time of joining. Original grade card / Marks sheet Of Ph.D. Course work must be produced wherever applicable.
Age qualifications, etc. shall be reckoned as on the last date of submission of application form/date of walk-in-interview.
