Eligibility: These posts will be filled up on deputation basis from amongst the officers of the similar rank 2. working in the formations of Customs, GST & Central Excise or officers holding analogous post in the Directorate General / Directorates under CBEC in the same pay scale. Those officers selected for posting in this Directorate would normally be appointed for a period of 3 years. They will also be eligible• for Ilo ance as mav be applicable.
It may also be brought to the notice of the willing officers that once they are selected, they will not be allowed to withdraw their name and also will not be relieved till the expiry of the tenure of three years. Selected officers' will have to make their own arrangement for residential accommodation. In case, while working in this Directorate, the work and conduct of the officer is not found to be satisfactory, the officer is likely to be reverted back to the parent Commissionerate/ Directorate even before completion of the deputation period.
