General Instructions to Candidates

The candidates applying for the post should ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility conditions at the time of submission of applications.
Candidates applying for more than one discipline shall submit separate applications with separate DD/IPO as fee and documents for each discipline.
The application should be sent by ordinary post only in a closed envelope. Applications sent by registered post/ courier / by registered AD will not be accepted.

Selection Procedure

The written test of 50 objective type questions – 50 marks
Assessment of talent in the relevant field
On the basis of practical demonstration - 35 marks.
On the basis of testimonials / prizes etc. - 15 marks (Total 100 marks)
Medical Examination : The selected candidates will have to be medically found fit for appointment to the selected categories as specified in the Indian Railway Medical Manual.

How to Apply

If a candidate is applying for more than one discipline, then he/she should submit separate application for each discipline

Selection Procedure

The candidates, who apply in response to this notification and are found eligible for consideration for appointment against sports quota will be assessed based on their performance during Trial & Interview as detailed:-  Selection will consist of Trial followed by a Personal Interview. Only candidates who fulfill the Eligibility Criteria will be subjected to the selection process. Candidates are required to bring their original certificates when they are called for the selection process. Trials of the candidate shall be conducted by a Trial Committee to assess the sports performance and suitability for Railway / Unit team as well as Indian Railways Team and award marks.MEDICAL EXAMINATION. The candidates should bring all the original certificates when they are called to appear for the trial / Interview.
